Walker Builds a Greenhouse
Thermostat for the heater control circuit. The thermostat is mounted on a piece of foam board with aluminum tape on the backside for insulation from sunlight. This thermostat regulates the greenhouse temperature within 2°. The previous setup, using only the thermostat inside the heater, could not regulate temperature nearly as well. At times, the temperature inside the greenhouse would be below 60° and the heater would by cycling off and on when it should be running continuously. Also, many times the vent fan, set to cool at 80°, would be running and the heater would also be heating. This new setup completely eliminates those problems. | |
