The Duo Six-20 got its name from the fact that it produced 16 half-frame
4.5x6cm (1 7/8" x 2 1/4") negatives on a roll of 620 film. A
rangefinder was added in 1939. The Duo Six-20 was manufactured by Kodak AG in Stuttgart, and shares quite a few design similarities with the pre-war Retina I 35mm cameras. World War II caused the production facility to be shifted to making armament and ammunition components, ending the Duo Six-20 line. The photo at right shows three horizontal 620 format Nagels. From left to right are the Suprema, Vollenda 620, and this Duo Six-20. |
