The Graflex 3A was
produced from 1907 through 1936 with only minor design changes. The autographic feature,
enabling the photographer to record hand-written information in the margin of each
negative, was added in 1915. The 3A was popular with the press, war correspondents of
World War I, and with railroad buffs. The body included a storage compartment on each side of the camera body, with each compartment having storage capacity for two extra rolls of film. Note small separate optical viewfinder at bottom corner of camera. |
