Senior Synchronizer Speedgun
Condition: 10 | |
Interesting flash accessory for
non-synched cameras. Instead of the camera firing the flash, the flash fires the camera!
The Senior Synchronizer is attached to the shutter release cable socket of the camera,
and, after cocking the spring-loaded cable, a shot is taken by pressing the firing button
on the back of the Synchronizer. When the button is pressed, a solenoid releases the
cable, tripping the camera's shutter. According to the manual, the flash synch is usable
with shutter speeds up to 1/400 second! Uses either No. 5 or the larger No. 11, 16, or 21 flashbulbs. The Senior Synchronizer with a No. 11 bulb is shown at the right attached to a Bantam Special, which was not flash-synched. |
